So I have waited long for my beautiful little girl, and this is what I have. Beauty beyond anything I could ever imagine (when she is done up.) If you come to our house though, this is what you will find. My little princess would much rather be out in the garage with her daddy and brothers. That would be some grime she pulled out of the pipe on the back of the 50 that you see on her eye. well, I always wanted a "princess tom boy." Can't beat a beauty in a dress working on a bike. And yes, I know, our garage is so dirty. This was us preparing for Coral Pink. (Sooo Fun!!)

My UNIQUE one!!

Maddox has always been my "UNIQUE" child. I finally decided on the right word to describe him. It has also been weird, crazy, interesting, awful, funny, and just plain adorable. I would have to say that for the first 9 months of his life, I truly loved him....but I did not like him one bit. This is my child that was "forced" to come 10 days late at a whopping 9 lbs. 12oz. And after that, he hasn't been able to be forced to do anything. Bribes-- don't work. Time out-- doesn't work. Taking stuff away-- doesn't work. Usually, and this is just my opinion, a parent can look at their child and see what kind of person they might become. WELL, I am just totally in the dark with him.
Dinner Time: Maddox- "What are we having?" Me- "Blah, Blah, Blah." Maddox- "Mm, I yove dat!" Me- "Great!" 2 seconds later. Maddox- "mm, I not yike dat." Me- "Well, you can eat it or go to bed." Maddox- "Otay, I doe to bed."....... or....... I force feed him and he throws up on me and then goes to bed. GREAT FUN!!
At 18 months old we were adding on to our house. Jess was working on the roof so he had a ladder up. He hears Maddox calling "dadda." He pokes his head up over the peak of the roof and Maddox is on the other side running up to a different peak. SO SCARY! Happened 10 more times until he learned to pull the ladder up on the roof with him.
Pictures- 1-1st birthday.. didn't want to get his hands dirty. Must be clean always!
2- Gotta love it!

3-There was pizza on the table, he climbed up, ate it, and then fell asleep!
4- This is Maddox when he was constantly climbing on the roof!
5- Just a cute shot! And 6/7- He has totally been doing the dishes lately! Like I said, "just unique." You never know what you are going to get.

I'm a blogger now!!

So the time has come for me to start a blog. This is something that I thought I would never do, but times change and we change. After admittedly being a "blog stalker," as my friend Alyssa would call it, I decided to finally take the plunge. Here are a few of my old hold ups... 1- What could I possibly have to say that would be of any interest to anyone? 2- Won't it kind of feel like bragging? or 3- What about all those "crazies" out there that will see all of my family happenings? Well, after seeing that I pretty much enjoyed reading what anyone has to write as long as they have a picture to go along with it... I caved on #1. (You will have to hold me accountable if I slack on my pictures.) Then of course, after my numerous times of "blog stalking," I realized that everone brags. I mean, who can really help it?? 'Cause we all have the cutest, smartes, sweetest little kids out there! Right? So, on to #3....This one, I have to admit, still freaks me out so I will have to watch it. But, in the interest of better keeping a journal and keeping up with friends, I will post the best I can!! So there you have it.

Does my 4yr. old have trouble letting go??

So this is what I found one night when I went to put Claire in bed. The lights were out and I was getting ready to lay her down when I about jumped out of my skin. After realizing what was in her bed, I of course, had to grab the camera. Maddox begs to sleep in Mason's room every night. The problem is that Mason has school the next day. So he was begging and begging.... (irritated) I said, "Maddox, you can sleep anywhere else in the house, just not in Mason's room." Well, he thought long and hard about that.
