Maddox has always been my "UNIQUE" child. I finally decided on the right word to describe him. It has also been weird, crazy, interesting, awful, funny, and just plain adorable. I would have to say that for the first 9 months of his life, I truly loved him....but I did not like him one bit. This is my child that was "forced" to come 10 days late at a whopping 9 lbs. 12oz. And after that, he hasn't been able to be forced to do anything. Bribes-- don't work. Time out-- doesn't work. Taking stuff away-- doesn't work. Usually, and this is just my opinion, a parent can look at their child and see what kind of person they might become. WELL, I am just totally in the dark with him.
Dinner Time: Maddox- "What are we having?" Me- "Blah, Blah, Blah." Maddox- "Mm, I yove dat!" Me- "Great!" 2 seconds later. Maddox- "mm, I not yike dat." Me- "Well, you can eat it or go to bed." Maddox- "Otay, I doe to bed."....... or....... I force feed him and he throws up on me and then goes to bed. GREAT FUN!!
At 18 months old we were adding on to our house. Jess was working on the roof so he had a ladder up. He hears Maddox calling "dadda." He pokes his head up over the peak of the roof and Maddox is on the other side running up to a different peak. SO SCARY! Happened 10 more times until he learned to pull the ladder up on the roof with him.

Pictures- 1-1st birthday.. didn't want to get his hands dirty. Must be clean always!
